Abstract

Letters, 15 Jan. 1842 and 13 Oct. 1842, Fort Sanford, to his brother in law, Thomas Berryman. Letter of January 15 discusses survey which is to begin in April; letter of October 31st tells of Allen's travels from fort to fort and describes the farmland and climate in Missouri.
